Hi guys, just got my blackberry bold not long ago from Australia. i was studying there and got it unlocked via the carrier just before i graduated and came back to singapore. im thinking of signing on to a data plan here in singapore but im not sure if the apps (eg: BBM, Twitterberry, MSN) will be fully functional with a singapore line?

any help is appreciated. pardon me if i made any mistakes in this forum, just signed up for it today. thanks in advance!

if you have a BB data plan with your carrier in singapore, then yes they will work.
if you have a generic data plan, then likelihood is they wont.

i'm looking at the Blackberry Flexi from Singtel which is a plan for bb. im just worried that when i sign on for 2 years and the bb plan dont work on my bb, a lot of money would go to waste. thanks for your help!

its a blackberry like every other, theres no reason a BB data plan shouldnt work with it.

Certain things such as BB Appworld are carrier dependent aren't they (i.e. only supported for US,UK and Canada)? I think some of the apps like youmail can be downloaded only if the vendorID matches a certain carrier.
