Was it unlocked by one of the commercial unlockers or do it yourself.

Did you do a backup of your apps? If you did you can retrieve them that way.
Or you can go to the site that you purchased them from and redownload them. I purchased my apps from Berryreview and they keep a record of the apps that you buy with the reg code. That happened to me once when I upgraded the OS to the 5.0 when it came out and I went to the site and redownloaded them and installed them; that time I downloaded the zip files and kept them for backups.

I did not buy any applications. Those were applications that came with the phone when I bought it on contract.
Applications like Word/Excel/NotePad and many more...

Unlocking a device does not and will not delete those applications you mentioned or any others. It is simply a code entered into a SIM screen, very simple and non-invasive.

I don't know what your shop did, but they did more than unlock.

One, you didn't name any specific apps on a BlackBerry.

If you mean WordToGo, SlidesToGo, and SheetsToGo, just connec to Desktop Manager > Application Loader and place a checkmark next to those or DocumentsToGo and reload them.

I don't remember ALL the applications I had on my phone, since I just got it 2 weeks ago.
But, whatever applications did get deleted they were all already on the phone when I got it brand new.

I tried to do what you told me, and this is how my Application Loader screen looks like ..

Thats terrible.... they did something else besides unlocking it.. I would download the OS for your Blackberry and reload the OS. All Apps will get reloaded to the device like when you bought it...

Yea download and install the OS.

But first, look at Options > Advanced > Applications. Do you see DocsToGo or any of the others mentioned above (WordToGo, SlidesToGo, and SheetsToGo) listed in there?

The latest version of the os is stickied at the top of this forum. Download it, delete vendor.xml, then run loader.exe
