Default Got my bold today - need some help

Please Login to Remove!

I already miss my pearl :( I do like some of the neat features the bold has, just wish it was in a pearl case!!

First thing that I need to fix is the annoying home screen. After a few moments it goes back to that limited menu. To get to the other icons I have to click the BB button and then all my icons come up. How can I make it stay at the screen with all the icons?

To be honest. You really don't need all those Icons. Take advantage of having your full keyboard. Just about everything you need has a key associated with it. For instance B=Browser, A=Address, M=Messages, C=Compose Email, U=Calculator, etc... To accomplish this and become more efficient in the use of your new BlackBerry you need to turn HomeScreen Dialing off. Just click your Green Phone button, Click BlackBerry button, scroll down to options. Then select General Options and turn "Dial From Home Screen" to NO.

I have NO idea why people would want to use the keyboard to start dialing when all you have to do is hit the Green Phone First then Start typing the name.. I mean it's only 1 extra click. That's if you actually use your BB to talk instead of message communication .. I hate talking on the phone

There's no way to modify your shortcuts, however they may be a third party app that will allow that.

Take a look here:

Yes... but not easily (I've griped about this from day 1). You would have to create your own theme which is a long lesson.
