I don't have a jawbone, but I do have a collection of bluetooth headsets that mostly disappoint with outdoor use. I like to use a bluetooth headset while walking in NYC and every headset except the Motorola H15 fails. The H15 is wind resistant and the noise cancellation is so good that I can have a conversation while walking through Times Square. Not that it sounds like I'm in a quiet office, but the incoming/outgoing sound is good especially considering my location. It doesn't have A2DP so you can't listen to music, I generally have a wired headset I use when listening to podcasts.
Motorola is releasing the HX-1 this month that is a true jawbone headset, using the vibration it picks up in your ear rather than using your voice. No A2DP on this one either.
