Can you block numbers from unwanted calls and sms messages using the bold as I can't seem to find an option? If not is there any apps that can do it?

I suppose failing all that I'd have to beg my network provider to put a block on the number.

You can block numbers that are not in your address book for SMS. Please note this will block all SMS that are not in your contacts. And you cannot retrieve of view them.

Menu>Options>Security Options>Firewall (select SMS and then select Except Contacts)
