Is anyone tethering with the Bold? What kind of connect speeds are you getting? I've tethered with my 8310 Curve, and got dial up speeds - 115.2kbps. I picked up a Mercury USB data card from ATT and I'm getting 3.6Mbps. Can I expect the same kinds of speeds with a Bold?

Here is what I get using the Bold tethered via Bluetooth on Windows 7 (same speed as XP) with ATT

.90 Mbps Down
.30 Mbps Up

From .4Mbps to 1.2Mbps

Is there a difference in throughput between tethering with Bluetooth and using a USB cable? I've tethered with my 8310 Curve using wired USB, any problems doing the same with a Bold?

I use the Bold, which is most likly why I have the higher speeds. (3g) I use a wire and an at&t plan. I am not sure how you are tethering.
