Default Sent message notifications

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

We have an issue with a Blackberry 9000 Bold when you send a message you get a notification in your Blackerry's inbox saying it was successful. The problem is, when you delete this notification it deletes the message from the sent items folder on the user's email client (Outlook). Is there a way to stop this happening or to stop the notification message all together?

P.S. Sorry if this is a repost, I done a search but couldn't find anything definitive!

Cheers!

Seems like this method solves this issue:

To resolve the issue in a work-around (or perhaps this is how its supposed to be anyways), there is a setting in OPTIONS>>GENERAL OPTIONS>>"HIDE SENT EMAILS". If you put this to yes, then the SENT emails will only appear in the SENT FOLDER, and you don't see them in the main MESSAGES folder.

Only works on BES accounts though apparently...
