Default Message Search Problem

Please Login to Remove!

My Bold is loosing saved searches always after a few days. I can't recreate the problem. It doesn't have anything to do with a battery pull or the firmware (running the latest). The only thing what I realised is, that it only happened when "content protection" is "enabled".
Any solution?

Thanks for your response guys. I try to explain my problem in other ways.
In messages, I click on the menu button and choose >search. In Search I click on the menu button and choose >recall. Then I get a list of my "saved searches". These saved searches disappear from time to time and I have to recreate them.

I am not sure why you need to save a search of your messages but, i do not have an answer for you.

Go to OPTIONS / STATUS and tell us what your FILE FREE is... the BB OS does delete some items (most notably phone logs, SMS, etc) when your memory gets critically low. It's possible that stuff like "saved searches" is included in the stuff that is "deletable" in this case... just a thought.

File free is usually over 25,000,000 bytes.

That is right, when your memory is low, it usually deletes stuff. Also, try clicking last, which goes back to your last searched item.
