I am a first-time BB user (switched over from iPhone 2 days ago) from India (Airtel Carrier). I am not able to synchronise mails from my Desktop to BB 9000 Bold device. When I select "Reconcile Now", it doesn't work. How do I solve this problem ? I am also not able to access the "Sent" folder of any EMail ID : replies sent from the device are found in the device and Desktop, but replies sent from my Desktop are not available in the device. Help, please.

Email doesn't sync using BIS. To do what you wish requires a BES.

As said above the BIS (Standard BB Data Plan) does not offer 2 way sync for emails. What you want is the BES Plan, tipicaly about $15 more per month. However this will allow 2 way sync with your emails.

Yeh but unless you have access to a BES then having the BES plan is pointless.
