Try restarting the computer, if that doesn't work, reinstall desktop manager.

I was on 4.7, but downgraded to 4.5 because I thought someone here said if I did that, it would avoid issues with the DM looking to upgrade my software, or downgrade it if I were to install an unauthorized version.

What version does it appear most of you are using and is there a downside to 5.0?

thx in advance

Download DM 5.0 and then check for updates in the bottom righ hand side and it will update to the most recent version. DM 5 is the best one out there.

I had problems with 5.0.0.11 doing backups... it kept telling me there was an issue with the Profiles database... I am back on 4.7 for now...

Thanks, but no thanks.

5.0 is definitely better than older dm versions. I haven't had any problems with backing my bold.
