Please Login to Remove!

Hi im new to this forum and the BB Bold, love the phone however I have a question, when using the SAT NAV every 2 or 3 minites the screen changes back to the home screen and locks.........
This is very enoying and id like to know how to stop it doing this.
Im used to other phones when using the SAT NAV (and pluged into a car charger) staying on the SAT NAV screen.
Hope someone can help

Go to options > password. Then change security timeout. Longest is 1 hour, there is no unlimited.

Also if you are on a BES the screen lock may be written to a shorter time period in the policy applied to your device.

There may be a setting in the telemap app to keep the screen on. Telenav and mapquest navigator both had one.
