Hello! I have a Blackberry bold 9000 series and it flaked out on me today. I tried to play a music file and look at some pictures but it say's it is "scanning" also I notice that my camera no longer works. I thought maybe the memory card that I put in it was bad but that does not appear to be the case. When I hook the blackberry up to the computer it reads the card fine using the desktop manager software. Any ideas on how to get my blackberry working again? and does the scanning also effect the use of the camera since it is just stuck scanning endlessly?

If anyone can give me some advice, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest that you hook the BlackBerry up to your computer, copy over all your data from the SD card to your computer, then disconnect the BlackBerry from the computer, and then format the SD card with the BlackBerry. Then do a battery pull, when the BlackBerry comes back up, connect to computer and then transfer your data back to the SD card. You should get one scanning session because of the new copy over.

I didn't copy over the data but I did turn the unit off, pull the memory card and the battery and then powered it back on. It works fine now--the camera too! Must be a bug in the OS but nevertheless, thank your for the tip and the response.
