If you want simply to be able to take screenshots, look for "CaptureIt". Simple and easy. -- Do a Google search it will return many locations for download. It is free.

Best program for screenshots is ZonaSnap...
ZonaSnap (English) - Personal Productivity BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry BlackBerry Software Store)

ZonaSnap is integrated with the email function and draws from the address book. Simply capture the screen image, hit the menu button and pick Send as Email... then start typing the email address and/or user's name... the address book list comes up to that you can choose from... if there are multiple email addresses for that address book entry, you can choose the specific email address.

The only deficiency that I see in ZonaSnap is that you can send it via email OR save the image... it should save the image and then give you the option to email it out... IMHO.

I downloaded ZonaSnap to try it out. The tough thing is to be "spontaneous" in getting a shot of a situation.

Also, can't get a shot for instance of the home screen...

My vote clearly goes to CaptureIt for its simplicity and little number of keys to press to capture a screen situation.

I just assigned it to the right convenience key... it's always there and ready to capture any "spontaneous" event... but to each his own... that's why Baskin-Robbins sells 31 flavors.

I don't get the call up address book behavior on my bold. Thats my big gripe. Having to input the address. Version of ZS is 1.1.08 running on Bold .282

Think I figured it out. You have to set it to a convenience key in order for it to do that. If you try to run it from the menu it doesn't apparently. Wish it did.

Ok, after everyone's comments, I loaded up CaptureIt for a test drive. What is the fascination? Sure it captures the screen image, but that's all it does. From what I could tell, you must manually do the necessary to get the image off the phone.

ZonaSnap offers two options within the app itself to (1) send the image to photobucket and (2) email the image off the phone.

ZonaSnap is a keeper IMHO, and CaptureIt has been removed from my phone.
