Default Autostandby vs Holster "sleep" mode

Please Login to Remove!

I have Autostandby and it does indeed help conserve battery life on the Bold. I also use an innocase holster, which puts the device is so-called sleep mode.

1. What exactly happens -- what's shut down system-wise -- when the device goes into standy?
2. What's shut down when you put the device in a magnet holster?
3. I've noticed that the holster-sleep does not save nearly as much power as Autostandby. Is there a way to keep it in autostandy when you put it in the holster, which seems to act like invoking the mute button, which brings the device out of standy? Thanks.

Default

When you put the device in the holster, "holster mode" it is equivalent to holding the mute button and putting the device in standby mode.
