Default internet and lagg

Please Login to Remove!

When I'm on the internet it will get almost done loading a page and
It will stop with the message "error occurred while trying to render page"
It will also display the loading hourglass a lot and sometimes freeze that way.
The only way I can un freeze it is to pull the battery..and my phone gets hot

Some internet pages just will not load on the BlackBerry because they have incompatible scripts, flash, etc.

You might try another browser like Opera Mini or Bolt. They are easily found with Google.

Try this:
options > advance > browser > make sure default browser is internet browser. Then options > advance > host routing table > menu register now.

No you have to go through your computer. The directions are in the post stickied at the top of this forum. Make sure you choose. 282 not .291 btw.

The latest os are always stickied at the top of this forum. I would suggest .282 because it has a higher platform version and gives you the option to switch between 2g and 3g which can be useful.

God, I must be a real chicken...I'm still too afraid to mess up my phone to do an upgrade.

If you are afraid, back up your device with desktop manager and then update your os.
