Hi, my bold has started to ring once when someone calls and disonnect. The caller hears only a flatline tone just like a disconnected phone. I can make calls etc and the email works but callers can't get through, any one know what i can do? I have connected it to my pc and reinstalled the software etc but no change.

It sounds like it might a service issue. Have you tried contacting customer service of the carrier you're with?

No it's not that as it works sometimes i have found.

Have you noticed if its when you're in a certain area that this happens? Could be a signal quality issue.

You should still consider having customer service check on it.

Have you considered a OS upgrade?

Well I would always recommend the latest OS (as indicated in the 9000 forum), however, I do not have the latest OS installed, I have .282 installed so I can only comment on that OS and I have gotten very good battery life, memory, network signal, performance from my device with this upgrade. .247 was also great. So I can recommend .282.

Make sure to backup your media card just in case.

I agree with the os update, but you should also call your carrier to see if it's a problem on their end.
