HI there,
OK my mate has just got himself a bb on vodafone UK.
I told him that when he ignores a call it gives out a BUSY tone which is a stinker.
I told him that with me being on o2 it goes straight to my answerphone if I pres IGNORE during if I choose not to answer the cal.
He sais that Voda said there is NO WEAY of getting it to automatically go to answerphone when you press IGNORE on vodafone.
Can you help me to find out if this is true or is it possible?
Many thnaks,
Magician

Well I would think that if he has voicemail service, then all he needs to do is go to dialing screen, then activate the menu and choose options and then edit the call forwarding options and enter the voicemail number (you can get this from your provider). This is the number to dial to get to the voicemail server (not the number to access your voicemail).

HTH.

Press the Green Call Key > Press the Menu Key > Select Options.

It should be there.

Thank you all so much, all sorted now. However a little learning is a dangerous thing and the Voda staff did not have a fix, saying it was impossible!!!!!

Well sometimes support staff don't get all the info or they skip a few training sessions .

Glad we were able to help you out and get it fixed.
