| If his paired with yours, then the two are already paired. No reason to do it again. If you want to try again from yours only, delete the pairing from both phones, re-boot (just to be sure).
Unless i"m totally confused, and you tried to pair initially from yours, and it didn't work, and then re-tried to pair from his, and it did. In which case, I don't know what to say..
