hey people had my bold now for about a year my mate just got one brand new , and when i try and pair with the blackberry via bluetooth to send files it will not let me pair , how ever my mates will pair with mine but mine wont pair with his ?

i have checked the discovery is on , on both phones

any help??

Check the options on both phones maybe the options are messed up and you haven't realized it. After that, try a battery pull and see how it goes.

Is this problem with your friends blackberry or all blackberries?

If his paired with yours, then the two are already paired. No reason to do it again. If you want to try again from yours only, delete the pairing from both phones, re-boot (just to be sure).

Unless i"m totally confused, and you tried to pair initially from yours, and it didn't work, and then re-tried to pair from his, and it did. In which case, I don't know what to say..

why ? is it possible that i need to clear some older paired phones to make room for new ones??

Try reinstalling the os.
