Default Bis + Owa stops working until reset

Please Login to Remove!

I have a client who uses his storm to connect to his companies OWA to collect his emails.

This seemed to work fine for a few weeks but recently it decides to stop receiving emails at all, it's not got anything to do with the validation as I can temporarily rectify the issue by reseting the device which then seems to force a collection of the emails, so the configuration is correct but something else is amiss.

I wondered if there was some sort of scheduling which I could amend but there are very few options at all so does anybody know of any issues that are like this?

Incidently there is no set schedule as to when it stops working, it just grinds down to a halt within a few days.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

It would be a server side issue unless his device has a memory leak? This poses the question are their any non OWA accts on phone and how is the progress?

There are other devices which use OWA and they haven't had any problems at all with it which is why I think its a problem with the device possibly.

When this happens, does your client have any other issues with data services such as browsing the web, BlackBerry Messenger, etc? Do they have EDGE (1X/1XEV if on Verizon) in capital or lowercase letters.

He hasn't reported any other issues to me but that doesn't mean that they aren't happening, I will get him to check next time round when it fails.

Is there anything else I can check in the mean time?

Does the blackberry vodafone server access the OWA and then push the email to the device or does the phone contact OWA directly?
