Default 3G/GPRS issue

Please Login to Remove!

Ok Folks,
Got my Bold last week, used it on the base software (don't know the version) for a few days all went well.
Wacked on OS 5.0, again, all went well but missed MSN and Facebook so revered back to 4.6.0.477/4.6.0.282 now my problem is that it just wont stick with 3G but keeps flipping to GPRS and sometimes even 3g. (even when i know the area I'm in is high converage for 3G).
The signal goes from ery high on 3G, to very low, then to GPRS, and a few mins later it might flip back to 3G again?!
I can force it to stick to 3G, but when I stumble into an area that has no 3G coverage I'll be left with no signal.

This a common issue?

Should I change OS to another version??

Might do a full wipe and reload the os tonight.

Default

Its the same with me on t-mobile uk
I know I have 3G coverage in my house that is high.
But when on a call, it usually flips to GPRS.

Or, when I move from one location to another in the house, it might flip down to GPRS but come back.

Its just the way it happens.
