This just happened a couple of weeks ago. When the phone was new the speaker/ringtone volune was very loud. I have checked all of the volume settings ect. I have a friend that has the same problem on his bold. The volume has gone way down on his speaker/ringtone. Has anyone else experniced this?? Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Do a search in this thread, there was fix for it, I just do not remember what it was.

My fix was I used to remove the battery cover and press firmly on the plate around the flash to get the sound loder and this worked for several months.

It stopped working and I had to get the unit replaced by AT&T under warranty.

New one is super loud again.

Just make sure you do a complete backup of your unit before you go in for service and make sure they wipe the old unit before you leave.
