Question Can you download Apps via wifi?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys I'm new to the site and already amazed how many people there are that have BB's. Anyway I recently got rid of my data plan to save money (being laid off and all), and well; I was wondering if I can download and use apps via wifi service or if I have to have a data plan to do it. Poynt is the app I miss most, well that and google maps, but if anyone has an answer or just thoughts; I would be happy to hear any and all suggestions. Thank you...

I actually can use Poynt, I put it in my google bar and downloaded through wifi. However I couldn't get an exact GPS location because I have no data plan, but if you enter a zip code in the GPS bar you can search using that over a wifi connection. So I guess it is possible to get by with just the wifi connection for now. It's a pain in the arse with all the changes in settings but it works.
