Hey all,

I just recently upgraded from a 8310 Curve to a Bold that I bought off a friend.. I seem to be able to transfer the contacts, BBM and stuff over to the Bold, but however, my BB Maps and Facebook cannot connect for some reason.

When I do a clean wipe of the Bold, I have no issues. But after the clean wipe, I lose all my contacts and BBM contacts.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the proper way to transfer everything over from the Curve to the Bold? I tried using the Device Switch feature in DM but it gives me the same problem. No FB and no BB maps!

As far as contacts, you can export your contacts from old phone to outlook and then import from outlook to new phone

Is your issue FB and BB Maps, or transfering contacts.

For the FB and BB map issue I might try pulling the battery with the phone on, leaving it out for 30 seconds then putting it back in.

The contact issue has been answered.

It was an issue of either FB/BB maps or contacts, because I was only able to make 1 of the 2 work but not both together, until I did a battery pull haha!
