The Bold 2 is rumoured to be released end of this year in the US
It may then be another 4 months + before the UK gets it.

Its newer than the Bold, so I wouldnt expect anything for another 6-8 months on that device.

Why would one want to revert to a Curve when you have a 3G Bold device? The Bold 9700 rumored to be released on Black Friday 2009 has the size of the 8900 but is a 3G that is rumored to have a faster processor and more app memory than the Bold 9000. Check out the Bold 9700 YouTube video posted on 9/10 or 9/11. It compares the 9700 and the 9000, both are BOLDS.

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Why do you ask about the 8900 curve here, and then create a whole other topic asking the exact same thing?

The 9700 is probably going to have similar specs to the Bold but in a slightly smaller form factor (it's right in between the Bold and 8900) and has the 3.2 megapixel autofocusing camera, along with 3G, wifi, (uma on t-mobile too) and GPS. And t-mobile's at least with come with Telenav.

Also, it will have 256mb of app memory, may have a faster processor (that would be great), keyboard will be like the bold's, the screen resolution will be better (similiar to tour I think).
