Default block numbers

Please Login to Remove!

I have been gettin calls from 5092213648. They call me at least 8 times a day tryin to sell me prescriptions
they say they are with US Pharmacy. I did a google search and a lot of people are gettin the same calls.
I answer and very politly ask them to take me off the calling list and before I'm done talking they hang up.
I try and call back and it says something about an international call or just beeps like its disconnected.
I downloaded the call blocker pro app and they still get through on that number when other numbers I put in
get blocked

What can I do to stop them from calling. I'm on the do not call list and att says I can't block someone I don't
know and if I do know them its gonna cost me 5 bucks a month

Get a program called CallsBlocker (search through the Aftermarket Software forum)... you can block any number simply... the calls don't ring, but go straight to voice mail. It's free.

Without using a third party software solution, you can also set the option to restrict calls - and you can effectively block calls from anyone not in your phone book... but that limits you to ONLY receiving calls from numbers in your phone book.

Call Blocker Pro which is not free is one app that I am considering for this issue but I have also heard of Privacy Manager which also blocks unwanted email and sms.

Your carrier may also offer some sort of call blocking service.

Wirelessly posted

Hi there,
I'm using iCallManager and quit happy with it. It blocks anonymous calls, specific numbers etc.
Give it a try. I think they have a trial..

You may need to decide if it's worth the $5.00/month to AT&T to have them blocked.

Just call ATT and tell them that you know the person. How are they going to know whether you know the person or not?

P.S. Where in your post does it say that you registered on the do not call list.

if u pick up, hang up, and dial "*57" right away, you will trace the call and go to the cops if you have already told them to stop calling

I work for AT&T, you don't need to know the person to block them, you just need to know the phone number. Just call in and ask them to add Smart Limits to your phone, you can manage it from att.com/mywireless. Just add the number to the blocked numbers list and that should work just fine if you're willing to pay. Maybe just add it for a month and take it off to see if they stopped, they might mark your number as disconnected or invalid or something.

In your post you said that you asked that phone number to remove you from the calling list. The website I gave you removes your number from ALL telemarketers calling lists. If you don't want to put your number in the registry don't do it, all I'm doing is trying to help.
