Default dissapearing e-mail apps

Please Login to Remove!

this is now the 4th return of my Bold to ATT. I get Java crash error messages and my Bold looses my three e-mail apps plus the box on the top left where you change from active to vibrate ect. also, the camera does not work. after too many hours with ATT support and BB support all i get is to nuke the software and re-install (including desk top manager). after that not working i get the warranty replacement game.

I have restricted myself to apps from the BB site only.

I have no confidence in the product any more and am furious at ATT customer service for not figuring out a more equitable solution (and heavens forbid the Iphone is beginning to be an option). My original warranty is running out as well.

anyone having similar problems with the phone. I know the support at ATT customer care is an immovable object and has no flexibility.

Wipe the bold with jl_cmder and then reinstall the os. How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ

ok, I understand the fix buy what is the cause? as a new "reconditioned" Bold (4th one in 6 months) is on its way, should i wait and do that with the new one? I tend to like to understand the reasoning for the problems instead of the standard wipe/re-format the hard drive or we will send you a fixed one and things will be better. can you imagine if the auto industry tried that approach!!
