Default Security Question

When I open an email with images in them, they do not automatically load (even though I have it set to do it). When I try to 'Get Images', I get a warning "Downloaeding internet images can expose your address. Continue?"

How much of a security risk is it to download these images?
I'd like to have the images in my email, but not if it really puts my BB at risk.

Thank you.

The reason you don't get them automatically is because they are actually links. If the image is actually embedded into the message, then it will load automatically.

As for the security issue, if it is a trusted sender, then you shouldn't be concerned.
