Cool ok guys pls help

Please Login to Remove!

ive been trying to do this since feb 09 with no luck.....i use vista 64bit with DM 5.0. my bold is brand new locked to at&t and i havent ever be able to ge the phone to tether. here is what i normally do...... first i check in the control panel for the standard modem that is created when you install DM. is there and i enter the APN address for at&t in the properties area save and close.....next i select the modem again and go to advanced and then the diag. tab and query the modem....i've been told that the follwing is an error for my phone and dont quite understand it.....when the modem connects to the phone it gathers info on the modem and abilites of the phone and sends a report to ur computer the following is a portin of the report i believe is part or all of the problem im experiencing......

AT+FCLASS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT#CLS=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED
AT+GCI=? - COMMAND NOT SUPPORTED

also when go through the steps of setting up the connection ( standard dial up connection) i have to set up the connection manualy and the comuter says (after i click dial up modem) windows can't detect a dial up modem. i ve tried to continue and gotten to the part where some instructions tell you to check the dialing rules...when i do it has local dialing rules called my location that ask for dial up conection like phone numbers and area code and what not but those rules arent linked to the standard modem which DM creates apon install on windows machines. so i ask you two questions.....one why would my Bold say command not supported and two if you can not help me pls point me in a direction of someone you think might be able to. thank you very much for your help with this very annoying issue.

also if someone knows of anyone out there that i might be able to PM about this and egt some help that would be great, or if someone has the contact info for RIM support that to would be great.......

Hi romeo_55, welcome to the forums. For future reference try to make the thread title match the content of your post. If you're having issues configuring tethering write exactly that "Problems with tethering configuration"

It helps yourself (since people with expertise would jump on the thread to offer their valuable insight) and it helps the rest of the community since the post can be found and referenced on the search feature.

"ok guys please help", "OMG PONIES!!!11111" "wtf" "heeelppp eeelpp ayutooo hillfeee, ayuuudaaa, aiuto, hjalb, aide" doesn't serve any purpose.

Take care
