Phone auto powering off?

So I started noticing after a couple days of waking up late due to no alarm clock that my Blackberry bold seems to turn off automatically..

When I wake up in the morning ( late now ), the phone's screen is blank. And it's only when i actually touch a button on the phone, it seems to power on and them my alarm(s) start to go off... I have Auto On/Off disabled.

This is really frustrating. My alarms are important...

Also, I know it's off because people try to call me in the morning and they say my phone goes straight to voicemail...

I have already tried pulling the battery..

Is there a time that you know it turns off? Does anything related happen at that? I know this is a shot in the dark but when does it turn off?

Did you reload any latest OS or made any change that may have contributed to this issue.

Have you tried to reload the OS and see if the problem goes away?

Well I'm not sure. I normally talk to my female friend on the phone around 11:00pm or later... We normally fall asleep on the phone. A call can only last two hours max on our network so the call time is supposed to be 2hrs when I check in the morning. But recently I've been seeing it at like 40minutes...

This morning it was at 20minutes... So I'm guessing that's when the phone powers off..

I have had 5.0.0.238 on for a couple weeks now. I never had this problem before with 5.0.0.238.

And I have not tried reinstalling the OS, no.

Well thats the problem, you have os 5.0.0.238. That os is still in beta. Downgrade to latest released os and your problem should be fixed.

It used to work before... and I have not heard anyone else complainin about it..

If you want your problem to be fixed, downgrade to a released version of an os or try different version of 5.0
