Default Bold 5.0.0.238 - BBM5 & VVM probs

Please Login to Remove!

Ive searched through the forums and google but struggling to find answers to a couple of issues since installing 5.0.0.238 on my Bold (Orange UK 3G) so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

1> Since install of new OS BBM5 installed from the App Store first shows as 'Archived' but then when it tells me that Ive succesfully re-installed the icon is missing. Ive unhidden everything and been through all the folders but cant find it.

2> I cant uninstall apps from desktop manager as once I have deselected them and then cicked next I get an error message saying "the application blackberry visual voicemail cannot be loaded because some required files are not available" and wont allow me to go any further.

I have done the usual battery pulls, re-sent service books from BIS and also re-registered via host route table....

Well, you may want to consider reverting to the latest version released by your carrier and that's an unreleased beta.

Back up everything and then wipe the os. then do an fresh install. that worked for me.

Thanks, un-installed BBM from AppWorld then downloaded from blackberry mobile site which worked - it even went and found all my contacts.
