Default Saved Nokia contacts to BOLD?????

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,
I had previously Nokia N96 & had backup on a folder with my contacts?
Finally, got Bold Now, but can't transfer the contacts from the pc to phone.
Is there any way to do it?
I would really apperiacite your help.

Hi,
there is a way...
first you synchorinize all to your outlook contacts via Nokxxx305;a PC suite.
then start your bb desktop manager and synchronize from ur outlook to ur bb device.

well thanks for your quick reply.
The problem is that i don't have any nokia phones with me. All the contacts are saved in a folder in the pc.
I don't know how to put them in outlook.

try to open your folder from outlook..
Open outlook
-click file-open-outlook data file

No, it doesnt recognise it
i can't see anything in the folder

you need pc suite to get them back to your nokia

No you don't need the Nokia PC suite at all. I had the sam issue with my N95 8G. With all the contacts in a folder on the PC, use MS Outlook to import these. Under menu/file, import a file there is an option to extract all the contacts. Then you use the BB_ manager to extract them to your Bold. I know it works because it worked a charm for me.

Well you can import the contacts into outlook and then instead, use desktop manager to synchronize to the bold.
