i have a bold and it used to work fine now it doent want to read my sim card keeps showing sos tried upgrade software nothing

sorry didn't complete i need help please help me solve the issue because i like the bold 9000 and had to degrade myself to curve 8320 and also that was my first post

Remove and resinsert the sim. Replace battery and see if it works. If that fails go see the carrier and ask for a new SIM card which they should give you at no charge.

Have you tried your SIM in another device or another SIM in the BB?

What other troubleshooting have you done?

What were you doing just before this happened?

tried that it doesnt work still

made backup and removed the sim to add more contacts from my smasung and then put the sim back in my bold and doesnt recognise my sim

yes i have done a battery pull

yes it is working fine in the curve 8320

have reinstalled to factory settings

have upgraded software to version 5

made a backup of the bold 9000 and then took the sim out put it in my samsung sghd900
to add more contacts from that phone and then i put it back in my bold 9000 and it doesn't recognise the sim it keeps saying take batery out put sim
