Does anyone know why every time I connect my Bold to the desktop it says it has to update BB 4.6 Core Apps? It has only done this since I updated a couple of weeks ago to .297 (which I think is the latest for at&t).

The other problem is every time I do one of these Core App updates, my app memory drops by about 20mb. Then I do a battery pull and the memory jumps up by 25mb.

Any thoughts? I only have 4 additional apps, I don't think they have all had that many updates the past few weeks.

Well the batt pull usually does increase the memory. When I was on the 4.6 system it would tell me to upgrade core apps also. It turns out it would want to replace the cod. That I removed to make more memory. So I just started to ignore it. Not sure if that isa your problem. Also the last week I got 2 need to update from ATT. But when I checked there was nada.

One AT&T update was for BB Messenger, not sure about the other.

Thanks for the help. I guess I will just be more careful about the updates. I also installed the battery pull app and the memory shot up again by 25mb.
