Does anyone else have problems with wifi on their bold? I don't have service at my girlfriends house,
so I turn the wifi on so I can get online. It works but its slow and I keep getting a pop up saying
"unable to find server) or something along those lines, or it says I'm not in an area that supports data.
After a few mins I see the arrow thing in the upper right corner go crazy then it let's me load a page.
Is there anything I can do to get it to work better?

Nope.
Open browser
If you see at the top a black bar, then make a note of what it says.
if its GPRS/EDGE or 3G, then its running on the data network.
If its wi-fi, its running on wi-fi.

If you dont see it, press U while in the browser and it will show you.

MAke sure that the wi-fi icon is WHITE before opening the browser.

Bold's wifi connection drops quite often, I have to reconnect around every 5 mins. Tried reconfiguring the router, but with no luck. I was never able to continuously listen to a long audio stream or podcast without being disconnected.

it would appreciated if someone, who have good wifi connection on their Bold, to share their router setting: channel, fragmentation threshold, beacon interval, ...

No, it's not. Never had any problems with WiFi on my Bold, both at home and at the office. No dropouts, no delays, works exactly as expected. Sorry you are having trouble, but there is something wrong with either how your Bold is setup or your router is setup, or both.

What it is I have no idea. Someone else will have to help with that.

And on top of that I turn the wifi off after I leave the gfs house and even though I have 5 bars(EDGE) if I try and type
a web site into the address bar or try and do a google search from the address bar I get a pop up sayin "this is a
wifi service. Please ensure your device has an active wifi connection and try again". But I can go to one of my
bookmarks no problem. I'm really starting to get annoyed with the bold. I'm about ready to just say screw blackberry
and go back to a samsung.

the browser is set to HOTSPOT.
it will use ONLY wi-fi, so when trying to use EDGE it wont work.
