Default Battery trouble part 2 - 10-29-2009, 12:37 PM

Hello everybody,

I would like to know what it wrong with my battery.

I thought it wasn't good, because i plugged the phone to the wall for a recharge and that wasn't working. But after removing the baterry for a couple minutes, i realised it started back charging.

But when that full charge ran out, wall charging wasn't working and removing the battery neither.

The phone finally took FOREVER to get back to fully recharged status.

Am afraid when that battery will run out it might not recharge at all.

Should i just get a new battery?

Did i damage my phone charger by keeping it plugged even if it's not in use?

What should i do?

You shouldnt let the battery drain completely.
top it up as much as possible.
a 10 minute charge here and there throughout the day is better for the battery than drain - recharge, drain - recharge

Well actually i didn't let the battery drain up to this week end when it was not charging after being plugged for hours. That's the first time the battery ran out.

As a matter of fact, since i purchased this phone in january, i often charge it, once i am home.

Actually, sometimes i wonder if it affects the battery to be remaining plugged to the charger even when it got full?

The Li-Ion batteries do not develop memory problems like the old battery types.
