Default Lost all contacts - please help! - 10-31-2009, 11:58 AM

Hi all,

First off, let me explain that I'm pretty handy at using my BB but I am not versed in the really technical stuff, so please try to explain things in a simple way for me

Anywho - I have a Blackberry Bold, which is hooked up to my firm's email server by the Blackberry Enterprise Server. I've been hooked up to that server for months now with no problem, so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with this.

Last night, I plugged my BB in and went to bed, and at that time everything was totally fine. This morning, I woke up, unplugged it, and ALL the contacts in my address book are gone except one (weird).

I've tried pulling the battery about 5 times now and NOTHING is working. Everything else on the phone seems to work, I think. Email, texting, etc. Just no contacts!

Any ideas? I did not add any new software or do any upgrades recently, so I don't think any action on my part triggered this...

Oh, I will mention that I think my work is going through a server upgrade from GroupWise to Outlook, but I still have access to all THOSE contacts through the lookup function. I'm not sure if that has any bearing on this.

You should immediately contact your company's help desk to speak to the Enterprise Server administrators. They should be able to help you.

The BES should have them backed up. Once the migration from Groupwise to Outlook is complete, your contacts in Outlook should be synced up to your Bold.
