Default Yellow Globe Icon / V5.0 questions - 10-31-2009, 10:12 PM

Found a Yellow Globe Icon on my BB9000 and when i went to message folder and tried to open it. As soon as i clicked it the ffg appeared " Add new devices settings?" I clicked yes and got "The new settings are secured with a PIN that should have been provided to you. Please enter the PIN"

I tried my device pin, 0000, 1234, my birthday, even the IMEI,but nothing works. No pin was provided...where do i get it?

Also where can i download v5.0?

Thanks guys?

1. what is a 'ffg'?
2. OS 5 for the 9000 is still in Beta testing. If you check the beta section of this forum, you'll find clues and links.

I don't know that I would be entering my PIN in any message pushed to my device without first knowing what/where the message came from.

So my advice, don't.
