i received a msg says that BlackBerry has blocked changing the BBM display pics!!

i tried it changing my pic but it won't change!

it's only changed in my profile but no one of my contact can see the new pic!! the still see the old one!?


any idea??

curious. from whom did you receive the message indicating that bbm no longer sends your display pic to other bbm lists?

i have been toiling with this issue since late saturday 10/31/09.

I have found that persons who are using the beta version of the BBM 5 cannot get or give updates (status, pic, etc) from or to persons using the official BBM5.

Try getting the official update (again if you already have it) at BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More and have your contacts update as well. See if that helps.

i re-installed it again... nothing happened

i received a tip says: choose the Pic u want then press Shift+alt+Delete then save it!!

some of my contact can see my new display pic!!

i have the same issue, uninstalled and reinstalled 5.0.0.33 but still nothing, cant see anyones pic. any ideas?
