Default Bold 9000 Delay in Receiving BES emails - 11-02-2009, 03:31 PM

I just bought a BB Bold 9000 and got connected to my corporate BES. But there is a long delay in receiving emails; Generally it takes up to 20 mins, but after a day or so, in can even take longer. There is no delay in sending emails. Lookup works fine too.

I switched back to an older 7207 and I get my emails instantly, using the same BES and email account.

I also noticed that on the Bold, the BES activation takes a lot longer than it does on the 7207.

Most of our corporate users have Curves. Service Provider and BES admin could not isolate any issues.

Can someone please help me identify the problem.

Did you try telling the BES admins to resend service books to your 9000?

Love the 9000!! It's everything I wanted (minus enough ON BOARD memory)!!
