Default Help Bold Noobie Question - 11-03-2009, 10:43 PM

So i bought a bold for my wife off eBay. There was a password set to it, so restore it completely. Unfortunately it still ask for a password, now when i go to Options>Security Options>General Settings,Content compression is locked with a little red lock next to it, when i go to Memory cleaning Status is Enables with that same little red lock next to it, not allowing to disable. Is there a way to remove the lock? Its really annoying. Sorry if this question has already been asked.

Thanks,

PS - I do beleive this unit was used on BES, but i plan to use it with a BIS service. It does note an IT policy Name of: Wyeth which was last updated on 9/21/09 @ 9:13PM, if that makes a difference.

Thanks,

You need to remove the IT policy. Remove an I.T. Policy from a BlackBerry... - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com

Did um, did Caesar live here?
Um... no.
I didn't think so.
