Default Replaced Bold screen, now shows rainbow lines... - 11-04-2009, 03:39 PM

I replaced my blackberry bold's screen, just installed the new one and turned it on, and the new screen simply shows rainbow lines. Please tell me this is an easy fix, because I'm leaving for new york very soon..

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

Sounds like the ribbon cable isn't fully connected or you have a bad lcd

Figured it out.. I thought I was 001/004 because my phone says 001 all over it, but I just looked at a guide and found out I'm 002/004 :(

Because Bold 9000 has 3 types of LCD, such as 001/004, 002/004, 003/004.
You should check the version of your LCD in the phone. And then replaced the same version, many many people said that 001/004 is using in any of Bold 9000, but reality is not.
