Default Problems with streaming media - 11-06-2009, 04:43 AM

Hi

When I first got my BB Bold 9000 I was only using WiFi. I could watch youtube videos and listen to live radio using moodio.fm.

Now i have activated my blackberry services, but i cannot play any streaming media.

I have been posting to several forums the same question! HELP!!

Blackberry infrastructure (BIS/BES) does not support streaming video. Not familiear with moodio.fm (a website?), if so set your default browser to the Hotspot Browser and it should work.

Hi and thanks for your response.
Yes, moodio.fm is a site with live radio. As I read in several forums, many blackberry users use this to listen to live radio. It works with WiFi but not with my blackberry internet service

I had (the key word) been using Moodio to stream live audio on my BB 9000, on the Rogers Network, but, for some unexplained reason I can no longer stream audio while I'm connected to my service provider. If I use wi-fi to connect to the moodio service all is golden.

I can't get a straight answer from anyone to date, and the sad part is that I'm paying for a data plan I barely use now. Waste of money, and it's starting to rub me the wrong way. I'm sure Rogers would love to have one less 6GB data plan off their books.
