Default Alarm goes off radomly - 11-06-2009, 05:59 PM

Hello Everyone,

My Bold has been beeping at 2:00 AM for the past two or three weeks. It is the Notifier Lucid tone. I have not set any new notifications or alarms. When I look at it, there is no other indicator, no flashing lights or anything. It just beeps once and thats it. I could live with it if it was in the afternoon and not waking me up. Any ideas as to what is going on would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

check the options on the profile you are using at that time (i.e. normal) and check all options, SMS, phone, browser, etc etc.
It may tell you what it is thats making the sound.

Thanks, but I tried that. I even went to my other profiles and double checked them. I do not have that sound selected for anything. I am stumped.

go to the clock application and check to if the alarm is on by accident. Also, try a battery pull.

This isn't the real Caesar's Palace, is it?
What do you mean?
Did um, did Caesar live here?
Um... no.
I didn't think so.

Thanks, but I tried thatas well. I did a physical battery pull as wellas having QuickPull reset it everyday at 3:30 am. The alarm is set for 11:30am to remind me to leave to pick up my son from preschool. Thanks for the suggestions though. I was hoping it would be something like that, that I overlooked. Oh well. At least it will be on my wifes side of the bed when the Bold 9700 is released. She isn't as light of a sleeper as I am.
