Default My 9000 keeps restating when i switch to 3G

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings BB Heros,

I have a serious problem and i need your support to fix it out please

I got a new BB Bold from Zain Kuwait (our carrier here) but am not able to use it with 3G as it hangs and reboot my device frequently and my battery just run away quickly

Nothing wrong with the carrier signal as my friends do have any problem while using the 3G service with the same applications installed (default app. and settings)

I wipped...removed the battery...restart manually...set to defaults ..same thing

Its working with the EDGE (2G) with no issues ...and i dont want to send it to the service dealers as they will take 4 days to respond and i can make it here with you

What version of the OS are you using?

Try updating to the latest os. Also, try getting a new sim card.

What is the latest os for my device in my case ? And from where I can get it with multilang and supporting arabic lang as well ?

You're carrier might not be 3G. See this article http://kirrinjones.wordpress.com/2009/11/07/readers-corner-radio-core-catfailed-error/. This person also uses the Zain network, only in Nigeria.

Hello kirrinjones ,

Zain Kuwait (our carrier) support 3G and all my friends are using it with their BOLD with no issues...except me

any new idea?

Hi zaltoom

our Carrier Zain got a problem with Bold & 3G they are using only one Band of 3G which is 2100GHz if u call them and ask this question they will ask u to switch to 2G (EDGE) try same device with other carrier (VIVA or Wataniya) Working 100% perfectly

i'm still with Zain and using OS 4.6.0.304 got some reboots everyday with some drop calls .. but i can deal with it till i get the new Bold 9700 if it acts the same i will switch to other carrier
