Default Creating A SMS Addy?

Please Login to Remove!

OK, if I use Twitter I send the SMS to 40404. How do I establish my own SMS addy similar to what Twitter and other similar entities do?

They're called Shortcodes, and they're quite expensive. Probably looking at around $500-$1000 per month to lease one.

Yeah, sms short codes are extremely expensive. Can you explain a little more as to why you want one?

Short codes are only mostly necessary if you are receiving texts. If you want to send to a large group of recipients, you should look at an SMS gateway. Texting through gateway providers (directly over the Internet) can be much quicker and much less expensive than going OTA.
