i've had my bold since the first week that AT&T released it. Besides the minor problems that everyone has had, i really like the unit. unfortunately, i recently moved and, as we know, AT&T coverage is not the best. i went to verizon and got a "TOUR" but it's just not the same as my bold. is there anyway that i can use my bold on the verizon network? please help!!!

No. The Bold is GSM. Verizon is CDMA. Totally different, non compatible technologies.

Yep, sorry. The Tour is Verizon's version of the Bold...although its more like an 8900

Not many (if any) ways to hack a BB. They are pretty secure devices. Not like most other cell devices and PDAs.

As previously noted Verizon is CDMA, while the Bold is GSM. The hardware to support each is totally different.
Maybe Verizon will see the light as Bell and Telus, the number 1 and 2 CDMA carriers in Canada did. I preparation for the Winter Olympics (Bell is an official sponsor) they overlaid their CDMA/EVDO network with a gsm/HSPA+ network which they officially launched a couple of weeks ago. Both are selling bolds and bold2s as of last week. Giving Rogers lots of competition.
