Best OS BB Bold 9000 ?

Could anybody recommend me the most reliable OS for BB Bold 9000. 5.0.0.XX ?
Now 5.0.0.238 installed - not completely satisfied.

Whats wrong with .238? I never had any problems with it. It's far better than 314 and 348. Didn try the .411 yet.

I've been using .411 for 3 days now and have had no problems. Battery life is very good also.

IŽv had some troubles with SMS recently. I Have to reboot my handheld twice a day. I write an sms and try to send it and in get stuck with "clock" sign in SMS+MMS folder. The only thing I can do is deleting this dialog box. And then reboot. Otherwise I wouldnŽbe able to send next SMS.

Well wipe with JL_Cmdr and throw on the .411

That sounds good. Would you have a hint where I can download this OS ?

I believe the most stable and performance enhancing 5.0 beta is 5.0.0.238, the best official 4.6 release is.....Ooops I can't remember, its been so long :).

Mikeu 12-11-2009 10:13 AM

If there were no troubles with sending sms it would be really great.. My previous OS was 4.6.... 247. But the jump to 5.0.0.238... I simply canŽt downrade it.. :-)

Maybe you should give .411 a go. I've had a few persons within my BlackBerry Talk group saying that its just as stable as .238, and has a lot of fixes and does not have the reboot issue that .314 and .348 had. I myself have not tried it yet.

Hi Everyone, I had 4.6 OS and I just downloaded the 5.0.0.411. When I did that, my Visual voicemail disappeared. Does anyone know how I can get it back? I tried calling ATt and blackberry and they are saying I would have to go back to the official 4.6 version in order to use VSM again? does anyone know how I can get around this? The OS 5.0.0.411 is working fine other than this problem I am having.

Thanks!

Is OS 5.0.0 even out for download on this site?

goodgiirl83 12-11-2009 03:11 PM

No...I got the leaked download off crackberry.com

goodgiirl83 12-11-2009 03:12 PM

kirrinjones could you please help? it seems you're pretty knowledgable on this topic?

bnelson01 12-11-2009 06:02 PM

goodgiirl83: A lot of the 5.0 leaks don't include the visual voicemail files so you have to install them from a previous release, check under the applications to see what modules are listed for it. Chances are you're missing the files.
