Default Blackberry Group Invite: Can't Click / Blacked out: Warranty?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

Don't want to waste your time but two quick questions. Have searched online and could not find really anything useful.

1) I've gotten two blackberry group invites from two different individuals. At the bottom of the link, it says Please Click on the link from your blackberry to join the group and then has a "bbg:(obscure numbers/letters)." However, I'm unable to highlight the link to add the group to my phone. This isn't a case of none of the links becoming highlighted since I am able to highlight one of the links in the same exact invite mail message. Is there any way to enter this manually into my BBM to join the group, or manipulate the settings so I can easily click the link and add a BBM group?

2) I traded my Iphone for this blacked-out blackberry bold. However, now I'm looking to use the warranty on it since the new hampshire cold killed the trackball and also made the screen quite spotty, in terms of the pixels. (I only left it outside in the car for 5 minutes... I don't believe a phone should react like this to the cold for such a short duration)
I'm looking back at a few of the e-mails the person whom I traded with and he says that the warranty is still active. However, I don't completely understand how it is since he opened the phone.
"And of course warranty is still active....All you have to do is take off the sticker again with a razor blade. But if you want to send it in just put on the silver bezel again. Directions are online, not too hard."
What exactly does he mean by this? Should I just take this to a professional mod expert to change the bezel and stress to keep this "sticker" on?

Thanks. This forum is very helpful and I appreciate all the useful input.
