I'm currently having the following problem.
I received a contact vcf entry by BB Messenger, and when I opened it in my address book, I realized the e-mail address was wrong. When I tried to edit it, I got the following error message: "Contact Updated Externally, Changes will be lost and the viewer closed." Now, I cannot delete or edit the entry either.
I had to create a new entry with a slight variation in the name of the person, so I could enter the info correctly, add their PIN, etc.
I did a battery pull (twice!), and nothing.

Any thoughts/ideas on how I can get rid of the screwy entry? TIA!

I have the exact same problem... can anybody give any tips for this problem..?
