Hi. I do hope someone can give me advice on this trouble I'm having all of a sudden.
I've had my Bold 9000 since August 09, with no issues whatsoever. Last Tuesday evening, 5 January, I got around to updating software so that I could sync the handset with my MacBook Pro, running OSX 10.6.2.
Since then, my battery has virtually zero life. I can charge it to what appears to be 100%, take it off charge, leave it on standby, no activity, no programmes running in the background and the battery is stone dead within a couple of hours.
In addition, when I re-power up, I get the same two emails sent to my handset - one from a clothing retailer mailing list I'm on, another from Blackberry confirming my registration. These are both dated and timed from when I did the software upgrade and are delivered only to my handset - not to my laptop.
I've tried rebooting over and over, but no change. The handset is virtually unusable in this state and I'd really appreciate any assistance / ideas that anyone may have.
